Connections on Wednesday Evenings

• Connections

Our free Wednesday evening dinners in Myers Hall is the heart of our ministry here at Conyers Presbyterian Church!

Doors open at 6pm. We open the meal with a breif devontional and prayer.

This has become the primary ministry for Conyers Presbyterian Church. As we get to know the community, we also get to know their needs. It takes mission dollars to make this work, but it is money well spent. Of course, donations are accepted to help fund this ministry of food and fellowship.

We don’t feed people from the community. They eat with us. Same room. Same food line. Same tables. If you drop by, it may be hard for you to tell who’s who. And, how beautiful is that?

All in all, it is a great time of good food, good fellowship, and good activities.  Come join us!

Dinner starts at 6p.m.

In keeping with the Great Commission (Matt. 28:20), with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, to demonstrate our gratefulness for our salvation through Jesus Christ and to glorify Him through our service, actions and gifts, the CPC Mission and Outreach (MO) Council works for Christ within our community and beyond by regularly informing the congregation of new and current benevolent and outreach opportunities, encouraging both member and corporate participation in these opportunities, serving as a center to present benevolent and outreach opportunities and resources while educating the CPC members about them, distributing Benevolences to worthy causes and, occasionally, initiating programs, efforts, projects, trips, etc., as time and resources are available.

Below are listed some of the mission and outreach efforts we support and in which we invest:
